This page explains what data I collect, what I use it for and how you get it deleted. Written to be understood, not to cover my back.

What data I collect

From the contact form: the name you type, the description of what you need, the email or phone you leave, and the channel you prefer for a reply.

I collect no browsing data. This site installs no analytics or advertising cookies, loads no third-party fonts or scripts, and uses no tracking pixels.

The server hosting the page may record your IP address in its technical logs, which happens on any web server and serves the security of the service.

What I use it for and on what legal basis

I use your data to answer your enquiry and, if you hire me, to run the job and issue the invoice.

The legal basis is your consent when you tick the box on the form, and performance of a contract once we start working together. Invoicing records get kept because the law requires it.

How long I keep it

If we never end up working together, I delete your enquiry after 24 months.

If you hire me, I keep the invoicing data for the periods Spanish tax law requires.

Who else sees it

The form gets processed by Formspree Inc., with servers in United States. That provider receives the form content in order to pass it to me by email. You can read their policy on their own site.

Hosting is handled by GitHub, Inc. (GitHub Pages).

I sell your data to nobody and share it with nobody else. There are no advertisers.

If you would rather skip the form

Write to kamil@mechidan.com or message me on WhatsApp. That way your data never passes through the form provider.

Your rights

You can ask me for access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability, and you can object to processing. Write to kamil@mechidan.com and I answer within one month.

If you believe I have not complied, you can complain to the Agencia Espanola de Proteccion de Datos (AEPD).

Cookies

This site sets no cookies. It stores one technical value in your browser: the language you pick, so it stops asking. That value never leaves your device, identifies nobody, and you clear it by clearing site data in your browser.

That is why you see no cookie banner: there is nothing to consent to.
